It was sent in clear text so there are no hidden bits that could fool you. What you see here is what you get. There is no offer to buy anything. No company stock being pumped. It makes no sense at all.
It was most probably sent by a beginner spammer who hasn’t learned how to use his/her spamming software. This email serves no purpose other than to clog up your inbox (Maybe that’s the intent and we are looking at vandalism)
This kind of rubbish is very difficult to stop

Gidday Warrick,
Any tool that you know of to stop spam like below. They come in with a bitmap image doing the ’selling’ and apparently random text to fool spam filters. Below is the random text, but couldn’t paste the bitmap that sells the bullshit stock advice. (I edited out my email address).
Rgds.

Image based spam is notoriously difficult for content inspection filtering.
In the last few weeks a pandemic of image based Spam has been unleashed and has pushed Spam (by some estimates) to 90% of all email sent.
I blogged about Spam filter system we used (http://blog.lancom.co.nz/?p=35) which is the most effective system I know
As well as content filtering it uses a reputation based filter. What we have seen in the last few weeks is a couple of days of heavy Spam getting through and then the reputation filters catching up and then just a trickle if anything. So its not the perfect system but its a couple of days of a pain in the arse rather than weeks on end.
The mail system we use to filter Spam and viruses cost us the best part of 30k to commission.
There are 2-5k solutions that you could buy but these would have little effect.
We can filter your email for $6 per mailbox per month. You get it free if you get on the 770 IT management plan.
