MakeUseOf.com has a great article today about search engines that help the environment, so we thought we’d let you know about some of the best ones here on this blog.
- Forestle – Forestle is a search engine powered by Yahoo search that uses the ad revenue generated by searches to protect endangered rainforests. The money goes to The Nature Conservancy’s adopt a acre programme and it’s estimated that by using Forestle for all your searching you could be saving about 100 square meters of rain forest a year.
