Today Google announced that they have added more search options to the side panel of Google which lets you filter and refine your search. The new search options allow you to: search by a specific date range, show more shopping sites, show fewer shopping sites, only show pages you have visited, only show pages not yet visited, search books, search blogs and search news.

These new options could make finding exactly what you’re looking for much easier. To use search options to refine or filter your search all you need to do is click on Show options at the top left of your search results. A panel will then appear down the left of your results.
